Religious Expression In Folk Music
This annual program marks the Christian observance of the Passion of Jesus
Christ climaxing in the Resurrection and the Jewish celebration of
Passover which recalls the flight of the Israelites from slavery and
bondage in Egypt more than 3,000 years ago. During the program we offer
links between the two observances, both of which focus on renewal and hope.
