The first hour was simply spinning favorites, including new releases from Grey Larsen & Paddy League, Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen and Connecticut’s very own Howie Bursen.
At a meeting of musical friends this past week, someone asked what alternative country (or alt.country in Web parlance) is. I don’t really know. I have a few ideas but usually don’t like to apply labels. How, after all, do you define folk music? So, the second hour offers some hints on alternative country.
