A Wild Bouquet Of Summer

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

This show is like a potpourri made from freshly dried summer flowers and herbs strong and fragrant but with a hint of the past. The show is essentially strong bluegrass from three Connecticut groups that will be appearing at the first all-bluegrass concert in the nine years of the Zoofolk summer concerts in Bridgeport and a touch of the past from a reissue of 1981 and 1983 albums (on one CD) of the innovative English Country Blues Band. For added fragrance there were cuts from old friends Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem, Dan Bonis and Open Book and Jack Hardy and the reappearance of the fabulous Otis Brothers.
