Songs of the Supernatural

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

Tonight’s Halloween and the beginning of the ancient Celtic New Year. The bonfires are lit and we’re experiencing that point in time that marks the end of one time cycle and the beginning of the next. The ancient Celts believed the moment between the old year and the new year was a moment out of the flow of normal time. We did little to dispel that notion in a special three-hour version of “Profiles in Folk” steeped deeply in lore and mythology.
