10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters
Where better else to try out some new material than on a live radio show? Singer/songwriter Lara Herscovitch of Connecticut made a return visit to “Profiles in Folk” to perform some new songs (and a few of her “oldies”) in advance of an upcoming performance at the Acoustic Café in Bridgeport, one of the state’s leading venues for live acoustic music. Lara’s also been branching out with her performances. Recently she’s taken her driving music that mixes folk, pop and Latin rhythms with a good dose of hard reality lyrics about life in this world on the road to venues in Vermont, Massachusetts and New York City. Percussionist Michael Benson joined her in the studio. |
