Live In WSHU’s Studio A: Eric Garrison

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

We welcomed for a return visit to “Profiles in Folk” Connecticut singer/songwriter, producer and teacher Eric Garrison, a man who has recorded three solo albums and produced more than 20 albums. It was a delightful and musically filled hour, with conversation ranging from performers who influenced Eric in his early years to future musicians he’s influencing in the recording studio and as Contemporary Folk Week coordinator at the Swannanoa Gathering and coordinator of the Performance Lab program.

Many of the artists featured during the remainder of the show are appearing in the broadcast region this weekend, including at the NOMAD (Northeast Music & Dance) Festival in New Haven.
