Three weeks ago I programmed an entire show of new releases that featured traditional folk songs, a trend that seems to be building. With a few exceptions from the vaults, here’s more, including new fiddling phenom Erynn Marshall from Canada.

Richard Thompson and Karen Mal are appearing in our broadcast area in the next few weeks, Thompson as the headliner for the annual New Haven Folk Festival.
