A Gaggle of Guitarists

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

We had a gaggle of guitarists live in the studio for this show, a preview of Robert Messore’s annual “Guitar Night” at the St. John’s Coffeehouse in New Haven, which this year features over a dozen guitarists in concert.

Joining us for an in-the-round session were Robert, Shawn Persinger, Dan Bonis and Ron Anthony, for an in-studio night of diverse guitar styles and fascinating discussion that was (mostly) all about guitars. We did a bit of interactive media and took questions from listeners via e-mail with our guest guitarists providing the answers.

My thanks once again to WSHU Public Radio Chief Engineer Paul Litwinovich, who not only mixed the sound but set up the e-mail service for listeners.
