It’s our spring pledge night at "Profiles In Folk" and once again thanks and bouquets to all the listeners who were committed and thoughtful in making pledges to the show during the two hours that WSHU Chief Engineer Paul Litwinovich and I were beating the fund-raising drums. Paul’s lovely wife Ellen answered telephones and gathered the printouts from on-line pledge contributions.
The music portion of the show was programmed to illustrate the diversity of the music on “Profiles in Folk” — some new releases, a stroll down memory lane to 1968, a few selections from live in-studio performances of guests and a preview of a few plans for the weeks ahead.
