The Coming Winter & Catching Up On New Releases

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

This week's show was devoted essentially to new album releases that for most of them are very contemporary singer/songwriter and ensemble works but all of which share a deep connection to traditional folk music. Luke Abbott's fine new album of traditional music is the exception. The evening began with a lengthy set of old favorites that was a nod to autumn and the coming of winter in not too many weeks.
