It’s April Fool's Day and what better time to indulge in folk foolishness and flights of fancy and bring out pieces from an album collector’s back lot. After a bit of inspiring polka music, I wandered into such themes as the lot of folk musicians, how to conquer the “folk music is boring” criticism, Milwaukee as a sense of place and a few sexual intrigues. Four well done parodies and a Spike Jones-like instrumental put the cap on the night
