A Summer Stop At The Roadhouse

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

We went honky-tonkin’ with this Profiles in Folk show that was heavy on country twang, pedal steel, a lot of great female vocalists and consistent dance music. Interestingly, the performers hail from across the nation from Brooklyn, New York to Seattle, Washington. This is one of several thematic shows during the next month based on recent releases inundating our mailbox.

Several of these performers are appearing in the upcoming weeks at the Green River Festival (www.greenriverfestival.com) or the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (www.falconridgefolk.com). Both festivals generously extended us ticket packages to offer listeners
