This was a night of stellar old-time and bluegrass music, punctuated by a twinge of country music from Roseanne Cash and Ricky Skaggs. The program highlights some of the cream of new releases of old-time and bluegrass music that have recently found their way to WSHU. The one older release is Roseanne Cash’s “The List”, chosen to underline her visit this coming week to the Sacred Heart University campus as part of WSHU’s “Join the Conversation” series during which she’ll be discussing her bestselling memoir, “Composed.”
