Winter Pledge Drive

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

This is our “pitch” show — a mix of old and new music — for the Winter Pledge Drive at WSHU Public Radio. Our thanks to all those listeners who contributed during the show. And spring bouquets to WSHU Chief Engineer Paul Litwinovich, Ellen Litwinovich and “Sunday Baroque” Host Suzanne Bona.

Suzanne, a former WSHU Program Director who now resides in Ohio, made a surprise visit to the WSHU studios and spent more than an hour with us, including a significant portion of that time pitching on the air. Paul did his usual masterful job of pitching and Ellen attentively answered phones and chatted with listeners.

Our thanks to the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford and promoter James Bozzi for donating to us two pairs of tickets to the upcoming Alison Krauss “Paper Airplane” tour stop at Oakdale to offer as “thank you” gifts.
