It’s the eve of St. Patrick’s Day. What else, but to present an evening of Irish music night. The show ranged from portions of the soundtrack of a marvelous and moving new documentary (“Beautiful People”, Paradox Smoke Productions) about the traditional Irish seisun at Dempsey’s Pub in New York City to recent releases from Cathy Jordan, the Washington Square Harp and Shamrock Orchestra, Solas, Molly’s Revenge and John Doyle. A few “oldies” were tossed in along the way for good measure.
