A Toast To The New Year

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

The New Year doesn’t come around for another three-plus days, but we're popping the champagne and singing “Auld Lang Syne” (twice) on this program, our final one of 2012. This is our annual show that draws largely on ancient folk ritual and traditional wassails and carols to offer a toast to the dawning of a new year. This year we mixed in a goodly number of contemporary compositions and tunes.
