This is an entire program of artists, most with new album releases, who are making their debuts as featured performers on “Profiles in Folk”. It offers a wonderful mix of styles and song interpretations. Some of the musicians, especially a handful in the bluegrass groups, have been heard as supporting accompanists in the past, but otherwise this is their night as headliners. Hopefully, we'll be hearing much more from them in the future.
