Catching Up On New Releases

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

I’ve got a backlog of recommended recent releases that stretches back into the old year. With all the thematic programming surrounding the holidays, we’ll be catching up on “new” issues ad infinitum. Because, as we plow through the backlog, batches of brand new recordings are finding their way into our mailbox. As I’ve oft remarked, there’s so much fine music being made that the task of catching up is, frankly, never accomplished.

This show includes a closing set that features performers who’ve appeared live in our studios and have produced new releases. Midwestern balladeers Tim Grimm and Ben Bedford make a rare East Coast appearance together Sunday at the Acoustic Celebration series in nearby Ridgefield.
