A Bushel Basket Of New Releases

The end of summer not only brings the beauty of a New England autumn, but also bushel baskets of new album releases in our mailbox. This show highlights selections from some of the “pick of the crop” with an ear to a handful of performers appearing in our broadcast area in upcoming weeks and some of our favorite performers. One interesting note: A close perusal of the playlist will show that most of the performances are by duos and trios. Only Diane Taraz and Butch Ross are solo performers (although they obviously call on a bit of help from accompanists for their recordings).
