To Welcome In The Spring

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

Today is the first of spring, but it’s snowing! Well, we’re ignoring the snow and welcoming in the season anyways with a full first hour of spring songs. I’ll be programming more spring songs in April or May when the agrarian year really takes hold. The second hour features selections downloaded from a relatively new Scottish Web site for artists and media people (that’s me) that is devoted to promoting traditional Scots music. A beautiful concept, as the music will demonstrate. We finish up the night with more Celtic selections from two recent releases.
