Open Book & Dan Bonis: Live In WSHU’s Studio A

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

It is with great joy that we welcomed back to Profiles in Folk and WSHU’s Studio A our good friends Michele and Rick Gedney (as Open Book and now as a married couple) and multi-instrumentalist Dan Bonis. It’s been six years since Michele and Rick were last with us live (Dan’s visited several times in the interim) and the come on the heels of a brand new album (their first in nine years) appropriately entitled “Grateful”. We also spotlighted Dan’s latest album, “The Lost Green Valley”, which we’ve been programming since its 2012 release. For the first hour, there was music from a handful of folk artists from the Midwest.
