The autumnal equinox arrived on Wednesday (also St. Matthew’s Day), the beginning of darker evenings and cooler weather. In New England, it’s also the beginning of a glorious, color-filled season although it does lead to winter. This is a program welcoming in the season. We take a 30 minute respite from songs about autumn to highlight music from Tom Chapin and Kim and Reggie Harris who are among many performers appearing in our broadcast area this week.
