A Final Batch of New Releases for 2015

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

Profiles is going easy on holiday programming this year because of how the calendar falls, so this Friday offers one last hearing of selections from new releases that have recently found their way to WSHU Public Radio. There are many more excellent releases to program (a batch arrived just yesterday), but they will have to wait until the New Year. There are two releases from the vaults: Lissa Schneckenburger is appearing in our broadcast area this weekend, while the Tom Rozum selection has a special Profiles history to it.

As for holiday programming, it’s essentially three shows this year: next Friday, songs of the season; on Dec. 25, the “Christmas Story in Folk and Acoustic Music”, and welcoming in the New Year on Jan. 1.
