Music of the Season

10 p.m. to Midnight Host: Steve Winters

The Winter Solstice is only a bit more than three days away, Chanukah observances are finished and Christmas beckons in one week. As always, it is a hurried and harried holiday season. Here are two full hours of seasonal music — largely secular — in advance of our popular and perennial Christmas program next week. This program devotes itself to the holidays and winter’s arrival, along with a reminder to remember those who are in need. For good measure, a bit of holiday whimsy is added. This is holiday music you won’t hear on most radio stations and certainly not on television.
